LEGLAG is a community group formed in 1993 to protect three areas in South Cheltenham, Gloucestershire from inappropriate large scale development. We welcome new members whereever they live, just go to membership to find out more.
We promote the recreational use of the area of land including woodland, fields and meadows to the general public and agricultural smallholders.
We also encourage the conservation of a wide diversity of plants and wildlife including many ancient trees, woodland, small mammals and a wide variety of wildflowers and insects.
The land under threat of development lies just below the Cotswold Escarpment designated as an 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty'.
